This is an awesome fat-burning workout I’ve been doing for a couple of years now! Kettlebells are a great piece of equipment to have at home for a quick sweat sess. I sometimes do 3-5 rounds of this circuit after a weights session to really rev up my metabolism.
I did 3 rounds of this before I filmed it, and I’m telling ya…I was feeling the burn! And my butt is pretty sore today. Luv that feeling 🙂
Kettlebell Workout
– 3 movements: a burpee, kettlebell swing and squat to press
– do 1 rep of each, then 2 of each, 3 of each, all the way up to 5 reps of each movement
30 second rest
– repeat circuit but this time starting at 5 reps, and then work your way down to 1 rep per movement
1 minute rest
– repeat 3-5 rounds!
* pay close attention to my form when watching the vid below. It is extremely important that your back is flat before initiating the KB swing. To do this, push your chest out and pull your shoulder blades together. No hump backs allowed! In this vid I demonstrate 1 rep to 5 only, but make sure you do 5 reps to 1 and then repeat 3-5 times to really get the metabolic benefits!
