How To Look Hot Naked And Increase Your Sex Drive!

Want to know what my top 7 tips are to look hot naked and increase your sex drive? Keep on reading!

1. Exercise! No surprises there. But when I say exercise, I do mean periodised phases of strength training.  Strength training builds lean muscle mass which in turn boosts your metabolism, making it a metabolic furnace AND it can also increase your natural growth hormone production (GH) and testosterone levels. Don’t be scared chickadees! This doesn’t mean you’ll start ‘bulking’ up or growing facial hair (females simply aren’t able to produce the same amount of testosterone as males for this to happen). BUT it does mean stronger bones, decreased body fat and, drum roll please, increased libido! Yup, you may start to have enhanced sexual desire and arousal simply by lifting some weights 3-5 times a week. Tip: to maximise testosterone production, try including some full-body workouts using compound exercises such as squats, deadlifts, presses, chins etc. These exercises will get you looking hot naked in no time ;-). For a more detailed explanation of how I like to train, the Paleo way, read this recent post of mine.

2. Sans Sugar! That’s right, say no to sugar! A diet LOW in sugar (including fruit with the exception of some berries) will improve your waist line and health by reducing insulin resistance…the fat storing hormone. A diet HIGH in sugar is the root cause of inflammation, disease, cancer, yeast, diabetes, arthritis, insomnia, hormonal imbalance, the list goes on! Now why would you invite that into your life and into your muffin top? If you are serious about cutting this stuff out of ya diet, I highly recommend following Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar 8 week program. Over 30,000 people have successfully completed this program, dropping dress/pant sizes in the process and improving their overall health! You can also purchase her I Quit Sugar Cookbook here…this is my fave cookbook at the moment! Tip: stevia or natvia are natural, herbal sweeteners that are fantastic sugar alternatives.

3. Bee Pollen – what the bees eat – yep! This is a VERY nutritious superfood! So nutritious, you could actually survive off the stuff if you were stuck in a desert with nothing but water and a bag of bee pollen (and hopefully your partner as it has the potential to reaaally get your sex drive amped up a notch or two!).  Bee Pollen is a complete protein containing 17 amino acids – more than what’s found in any animal protein. It is also natures richest sources of vitamins, containing B-complex vitamins, as well as vitamin C, A & E. This favourite superfood of mine contains minerals, enzymes and immune boosting properties that increase energy, endurance and stimulate sex glands and hormone production! It also may increase sperm count and fertility in both men and women.

4. Maca – another superfood that is always found in my smoothies /protein shakes! Maca is a root vegetable grown high up in the mountains in Peru. Maca contains an array of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and phytonutrients. It is also an adaptogen, meaning it’s able to find any physical/mental weaknesses in the body and assist in its healing. Now to the fun stuff! Maca is a powerful enhancement of endocrine function and hormonal regulation. Having balanced hormones folks, is critical to optimal health and sexual function as it will increase: sexual arousal, overall sense of well-being, energy, endurance and will help to increase testosterone and build lean muscle mass (i.e. hot naked bod and increased sex drive!).  Tip: add this to your smoothies along with bee pollen…and make some for your partner too!

5. Restrict Carbohydrate Consumption, Refined and Complex. Fact: all carbs when metabolised become sugar (refer to tip number 2.). Now…for someone who has been training hard for an extended period of time, plus eating a Paleo Diet, having a higher carb day along with some fat isn’t likely to throw them off track. This is likely due to them becoming, as Mark Sisson refers to as, fat-adapted (meaning they sufficiently burn fat for energy rather than sugar keeping them nice and lean, which is the normal, preferred metabolic state). Unfortunately, the sugar-burners out there can’t effectively access fat for energy, which isn’t optimal when wanting to drop body fat! Want to fix this and strive for that hot naked body everyone wants? Restrict carbohydrate consumption and train hard! Tip: if you follow a strict low carb, high protein eating plan, it is important to schedule one ‘treat’ meal a week, for physiological & psychological reasons.

6. Eat More Greens For Hot, Sexy Legs! Green veggies along with other cruciferous veggies will help to detoxify estrogen resulting in leaner legs ladies and decreased body fat in both women and men! Green veggies such as kale, broccoli, spinach, cucumber and dark green lettuce are packed full of minerals (iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium), vitamins K, A ,C plus many B vitamins and phytonutrients which protect against cell damage. Greens are also low in carbs 🙂 and high in fibre! Tip: try having green juices daily as a quick way to get a lot of greens into ya!

7. Sleep. For improved body composition, you should aim for 7-9 hours of sleep a night. Sleep deprivation has been shown to increase cortisol levels, the stress hormone, which tends to accumulate fat around the abdomen and increases appetite. Lack of sleep also impairs immune function and alters the brain’s ability to use glucose, effecting glucose metabolism which may result in insulin resistance and fat gain. Sleep in also important for a healthy libido, so make sleep a priority! Tip: for better overall health and body composition, try going to bed early and rising early, preferably between the hours of 10pm-6am.

Bonus tips:

  • In the world we live in today, it is nearly impossible to avoid stress. Whether it be  environmental stress, toxic stress, emotional or lifestyle stress, stress is the root cause of disease. It is also makes you fat, tired (be careful of adrenal fatigue), ages you and decreases libido. To help minimise stress, take time out for meditation, yoga, deep breathing, exercise (but careful not to over-train as this also adds to stress in your body!) and adequate rest.
  • To increase your energy and libido naturally, you could also try these following herbs: holy basil, ashwaganda (traditionally used to enhance male reproductive health and sexual function), don quai and tribulus terristris. I do advise seeing your naturopath first.
